Colorized Images of WWII and Other Subjects

These were likely posted on the OT in the past. At least the two women delivering ice, the Japanese archers and I think think some of the Civil War.
No descriptions of the WWII images from The Federalist Papers website except one exception I provided. Left one out due to rules but it's art so, I erred on the side of caution.
I have never seen the following image colorized, only in grayscale. Caption from WWII Database:
