When decorating a house & yard with Christmas lights, what are the OT's thoughts on the following questions:

Are multi-colored Christmas lights trashy?

Or

Are White only Christmas lights boring and an indication of an uptight, anal retentive home owner?

And I believe the current nomenclature is "lights of color"

What the difference is I have no clue

White only.
The song doesn't say dreaming of a colored Christmas.

I'm for DNA Testing for assignment of lights.

Keep Chromosomes in Christmas.

Alternate as you see fit. We like white or other solid on the house and multi on trees, bushes.

I already used this, but I think it bares repeating

I don't have a problem with them per se, but I'd be uncomfortable if my daughter brought one home.

No upstanding citizen is going to be seen with colored lights.

Trashy folks hang coloreds all the time though, or at least they used to.

Very.

Only acceptable colors are white or blue. Also icicle lights are out of style

If a light is half black and half white why do we refer to it as black and not white?
