Everyone needs to stop drinking this stuff.

I've cut myself down to one can per day and zero on the weekends.
Hopefully I can cut it to zero cans each day.
Drink water and coffee instead.

I have a friend who drinks 6 diet cokes each day. He can't sleep at night.

It's outrageous how much the cost has increased in the past 2 years. Thankful my wife pretty much stopped drinking them. My kids make fun of me for stockpiling, when they're 3/$12, but I'm not paying $6-7 for a 12 pack of Cokes 'on sale'.

ETA: But thank goodness you can pay for it with your EBT card

Potato chips are another one.

I bought a bag without looking at the price the other day. I never buy chips. It was $5.99 for a regular size bag of ruffles. My lord.

Everyone needs to stop drinking this poison. Soft drinks are a cornerstone in the obesity epidemic.

I don’t think i have had a can of coke in a couple years.

The only time i ever have it if it’s from a fountain drink machine.

Not any better at Costco. Sodas in 12 oz. cans are selling at $17+ for 30 in a large pack for the major brands like Coke, 7up, Sprite, etc.

I may drink a 6 pack a year so it doesn't bother me what they charge.

For those who drink 1-2 soft drinks a day, is there any particular reason for it? Convenience? Caffeine? Sugar rush?

Just out of curiosity, did anyone here that had the Wuhan clap think Coca Cola tastes like shite now? All cola taste like crap except Dr. Pepper and root beer. It has a metallic like taste to it now.

OP says CC beat earnings by increasing cost, and your response is inflation.

“Goodness” is not to thank for that. 535 of your elected representatives in Congress are.

I only drink soda with Mexican food and pizza anymore. Otherwise it’s primarily water. I don’t miss it a bit and actually have gotten to where I don’t like it.

I drink it as a substitute for coffee. I never cared much for coffee but still need a caffeine jolt to get going in the morning and I like to "cleanse my pallet" with a carbonated swig after a meal. Rarely drink any after 6 pm.

I buy the 1L bottles. They're cheaper and they don't go flat like a 3L will. I drink about 3 litres a week. Need to quit, but I'm not fat.

I didn't notice a major change. But the girlfriend insists some foods/drinks taste nasty ever since we had Covid
