Where you live is what you make it. I lived in Louisiana, BR and NOLA. There is no great state. No matter where you are. It's about you and what you make of it. I did well in LA but chose Texas. Go ahead haters.

Not entirely wrong but many of them act like everyone in the south is like that. Also some (a small number though) truly believe the south is 3rd world. Such as very few paved roads, little to know technology, (race) wars happening, etc. My point was many non- southern Americans really don't like the south (some think it's the most backwards racist place in the world) despite the fact that some of them have never even been here.

I can easily think of 15-20 states I would choose Alabama and Louisiana over. In most states, I would only live in 1 or 2 of the cities there.

No,they are assholes. I have never in my life heard anyone refer to anyone in the NE as a "hippie".
By every survey taken since the beginning of time they are much ruder on average than southerners.
Hence, "assholes"
