New dryer - about 3 months ago

new exhaust ducting - about one month old. ducting is a 2-3 foot "level" shot to outside patio

have not seen any issues with wet clothes

intentionally did not set up water for steaming to dryer

still getting condensation all up in the dryer. it is not any leaking mechanical fluid

perhaps my loads that I am trying to dry are more than the machine can handle.

until service call can make it out, I plan on drying smaller loads and run an empty cycle before going to sleep. perhaps that can dry out the machine and duct.

thoughts appreciated

Perhaps.

That's weird.

The OT never disappoints.

I'm having a similar problem. Clothes dry fine but if left in overnight or during the day they are noticeable damp again.

Also notice water puddling if nothing is in it.

Stupid question but believe it or not some people don't know to do it. Do you clean the lent out of the filter after each use?

Majority of the time a condensation issue in a dryer is going to be exhaust related.

Check for clogged ducting, check lint trap

Could it be that humid air is coming in through the exhaust vent and condensing in drum cause inside air temp is cooler

Check to make sure the exhaust flap is opening properly when the dryer is running (if the outside vent opening has that). The cable guy ran cables underneath my outside exhaust and it prohibited the flap from opening. All good on with figured it out.

If it's sideload, you can't let them stay in after a cycle for a while or they will get damp or mildew.

And leave the door open when done or you'll want to run a cycle of vinegar and water more frequently to clean it.

Mine is doing the same thing but it is 3-4 years old. This is the first summer I noticed that it collects water AFTER clothes are taken out and door closed

Your exhaust prolly has a dip or turn where lint and water is accumulating to the point air is exhausting from even the lint filter door, keeping moisture trapped.

my setup is a 90 elbow and a straight shot to the outside

exhaust flaps are working fine

humid air coming in makes the most sense, but I am failing to see a proper fix

Leave the dryer door open, reject.

Make sure your upside exhaust flap is closing when off. But you probably have something else going on.

And as previously said, fully opening when the dryer is running.
