When you right, you right. I'm gonna go up to CFA, and wait for that employee to get off work and follow him home. Then I'm gonna fill his muffler up with coffee beans and a note that reads, "It's gonna be 5 minutes...or not."

So, ordering a coffee at a drive thru and switching at the window to a sweet tea is the highlight of your day you wanted to share with the world??

You are way too impatient for someone who is only 24.

There's way more depth involved. People of the OT will be talking about this cool story months, if not years from now. You don't even know.

I disagree. I am way too impatient for someone who isn't important enough to care about their time.

I lost you on the receipt thing

but there is a takeaway in this lame story

Never
Never
Never

pull up at the drive through.

They've got your money and now you're not in the way anymore. There is no incentive to serve you at that point.

Actually took me a couple of tries before I figured this out.

When you're at the window, you're still holding some cards.

negotiate

Which you did notorious.

Just don't be an a-hole about it.

I was hesitant to include the receipt part at first, but I figured despite exposing my prick-ness, it had to be included in order to show how little attention that guy was paying. Or maybe he just can't delegate. I've been watching too much House of Cards. Frank Underwood doesn't tolerate that kind of malarkey, not do I.

the worst part of my day up to that point had been watching the cops show up at my neighbor's house in the middle of the day after 4 thuggish individuals broke down her door and beat her 17 year old son's arse.

Yeah that could be more interesting than a drive thru experience

Anyone who waits in a chic fil a line is a fat idiot. Going inside is always faster and while you're sitting there waiting on your 12 chicken nuggets with a side of hot coffee you can post a cool story to tigerdroppings. You'll be so relaxed in there you might even use paragraph breaks.

Basically you lack common sense. I'll call him order taker guy, order taker guy didn't drop everything else he was doing the moment that last e in coffee left your lips and grab the coffee pot for you, the idiot, who knows he's being an idiot because something else in your dick swallowing brain made you order food too. This is assuming this guy has anything to do with the coffee making process, he has to listen to your (im imagining super homosexual sounding voice) and deal with the people, gasp, further up in the line than you. Using this crappy crappy story as an example to come to your climax of asking about this generations youth, while being 24, makes you the problem. Swallow your dick.

Don't ever come to my hotel, OP. I don't want to deal with your absurd expectations of customer service. Sorry the young man offered you a receipt. Prayers sent.

Maybe he wasn't paying attention when you said "no receipt", and acted on instinct of giving everyone a receipt (as they usually do...everywhere).

Do you still have the receipt?

How much were you charged?

According to the interwebs...there is a $0.36 price difference between a medium coffee ($1.95) and a medium sweet tea ($1.59).

Maybe he was just trying to give you verification that he didn't charge you the higher amount.

And let's be honest...you do come off as the kind of irrational cock-wallet that would jump a counter over $0.36 that you should still have in your ashtray.

It's like you never even read the part where he said it'll be about five minutes, implying that he, or someone he delegated the task to, would start the coffee as soon as possible to ensure the customer got his order in a timely manner. I am what's wrong with my generation. I am an idiot, and I get impatient. There is no common sense. No one is born with it. You learn certain things from experiences as you grow up, and then expect other people to have the same understanding as you? That sounds idiotic to me. My common sense is the same as some kid who grew up on a farm?
