Like many cigars, they have their devotées, and their detractors. I'm a bit of purist so I tend to look down on infused cigars or conditioned cigars with a touch of disdain. Other, less doctrinaire like them.

I mean Acids, Lars Tetens and others. Someone gave me an Isla del Sol, made by Drew Estate, and I have it out to try in the near future.

Smoke what you like, like what you smoke.

I'm a drew estate guy.
Also like Olivas and Rockies.
I do a lot of samplers on cigarbid.com.

Always on the lookout for that unknown $2 stick that tastes better than the $10 ones.

One of my go to cigars. Pairs nicely with Macallan 12.

I've been smoking Excaliburs for almost 15 years now. Very consistent. Consistently good.

Also, has anyone tried a Man-of-War, Armada?

Quite possibly the best cigar I have smoked other than ultra-premiums (Real Cubans, Fuente XO, Ashton, AF Hemingway, etc...).

CI had them for $10/stick. Not bad.

Really enjoyed my Gurkha Heritage last night.

I'm not a big smoker but my humidor currently holds:

Gurkha 125th anniversary Rothschild
Gurkha Beauty
Gurkha ghost
Gurkha Cask Blend Grand Robusto
Padron (got it from a cigar bar at a wedding)
Romeo y Julieta no3

My favorite at any time is a LaGloria Cubana Serie R.

Also a big fan of H. Upmann, Gurkha Ghost, and the Tatuaje Fausto.

Thompson cigar has a house brand unlabeled stick that is rum dipped and it's about $27 for a bag of 25. They are fantastic for when you don't want a $8-$10 stick.

I have a humidor in my home office and smoke about one a month. I prefer the lighter ones. I have understood to put about 1/2 sugar packet of your tounge to help with dizziness- I tend to smoke fast

I have not, but they're made by A.J. Fernandez who is THE hottest guy going in the cigar business right now.

He makes Man-O-War (I've had a couple) and they're really good.
He makes the New World, he makes Enclave, Diesel, and Ave Maria. Ave Marias are one of my current favorites, the Clermont is a corona, which so few make right now. They're right at $104 a box at CI, but watch the e-mail specials they go on sale every few months.

A.J. also has partnered with Hoyo de Monterrey to make an excellent cigar called the Hoyo la Amistad. Damn fine cigar. He's also made one with H. Upmann, which I haven't yet had the opportunity to smoke.
