A buddy gave me a cigar last week that he bought at the Cigar Factory in New Orleans, and admittedly, it was pretty good. He told me that it was their brand that they rolled there. You guys ever try these? Said they're like $4 a stick if you buy a box.

I'd be interested in giving it try.

Where in New Orleans?

I go every time I'm in the quarter. Excellent cigars. The original location is on magazine I believe (just up the street from Jackson square, towards canal on the right hand side)

I think you must mean Decatur. Magazine is nowhere near Jackson Square.

That's the place. I hadn't been there in years, but when I did go, their cigars were very tasty and well made.
At that time their three lines were Plantation Reserve (Connecticut wrapper) Vieux Carre (Cameroon) my favorite, and Tres Hermanos (Three Brothers--maduro.)

My son has gone down there recently, and they have changed the names, I believe. I'm guessing the blends are similar. I'm overdue a trip down there, as well as to Don Leoncio on Canal Street.
