Cheaper Polarized Sunglasses

Looking to get a pair of decent polarized sunglasses, but don’t want to spend a lot because I don’t take the best care of my sunglasses. Anyone recommend any brand in particular? Suncloud was suggested to me. I’ve also seen some advertised on FB (Shady Rays, Blenders, KZ, Peppers, etc...). I’m ok spending $100.00, but really don’t want to go over that.

Spend 180-225 on a pair of Maui Jim's. They service them for life.

I got some natives from steapandcheap.com, they were like $60. Polarized and everything. Really nice glasses.

There are a hell of a lot of relatively inexpensive polarized glasses on the market nowadays. I don't have brands, but when you are looking at glasses, just take two pairs that are supposed to be polarized and look through them both at the same time...turn one pair 90 degrees and you should not be able to see through the two lenses at once.

Go to steep and cheep, look for Natives on sale.

American Optical has some nice lenses. I like their cosmetan glass lenses.
They make them in varying sizes, which is nice.

I own a pair of Shady Rays, they are not bad. I've had one pair break and I sent it back to them and got a semi-free return, I paid 8.95 for shipping and received a new pair.

Jomashop has polarized ray bans for $100. Gray market but they’re legit

I got some Sunclouds after losing my Ray Bans in the gulf. They are pretty good for $50. I’m looking for new, more premium, sunglasses to replace them though. Probably another set of polarized Aviators or something from Raen or Krewe if the budget allows.

Its better to buy ironman polarized sunglasses from Walgreens ($25), than to spend ridiculous money on Maui's, Costa's, or anything from Luxottica or Safilo.
Name brand sunglasses are the biggest ripoff in retail merchandise.
