Cheap Airfare of the Week: $82 Dallas, $96 Chicago, $96 Atlanta from MSY

For those looking to get away from the rainy weather, there's some pretty good deals going on. Some of the recent threads already had Dallas and Chicago, but it looks like those sales have been extended until around April.
1. Dallas- Looks like its for Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Saturdays until the middle of March. Roundtrip on American is $81 for those dates, weekend trips (Fri-Sun) increase to about $107.
2. Chicago- This $96 sale looks like it runs all the way through July on Southwest and June on United and American. If you're looking at summer travel, might be worth it to book something on Southwest(you can always cancel a reservation for free on Southwest, you get credit towards a future reservation on Southwest within a year of the first booking date). The dates for this sale are very random so playing around on google flights is your best bet.
Note: Whoever was asking about going to Chicago for St. Patrick's Day, there's now $96 fares Saturday-Monday so you can see the river dyed green that Sunday.
3. Atlanta- Southwest is trying to promote Atlanta now after buying out Airtran so we should be seeing some cheap fares there. This $96 sale is for Tuesdays and Wednesdays with it being $116 for Saturdays up until Memorial Day weekend. Delta is at $147 for the route.
ETA: The person who was looking for Atlanta-Hawaii flights in June, they're $762 for a roundtrip ticket on Delta.
Enjoy

I may do this one. My SO is going to a conference up in Chicago in June so I may go and make a vacation out of it for me. I have enough vacation time saved up at work.

I was up there for a week last June during the world cup and it was awesome. They had set up a giant viewing area for the games in Millennium Park. Weather was perfect, bars were great, no snow

I really want to go. I have several cousins up there. I've always wanted to reenact the movie Ferris Beuller's Day Off. This summer may be my chance, haha

You are providing a worthwhile function for the OT so....
Based on the power vested to me as a poster here (none at all actually), I award you the OT Service Star with cluster for Merit.
Congrats.

I'm not sure what this is, but I'll take any positive feedback I can get from the OT

Would be helpful to put that in the OP.

Edited to put from MSY, just forgot today. It is hard to find cheap flights from BTR or LFT, I've been looking though.

You're the man! Been wanting to fly up to see my friend in ATL.
Know of any flights from Nola to any island destinations in March or April (not very specific I know)?

The direct weekend flights (in Fri out Sun) to ATL on Southwest are still more expensive than on Delta. I get $198

You're right, their sale is for Tuesdays and being $20 more on Saturdays. What you could do is book a one way ticket on Delta (seeing those for $74) and a one way on Southwest ($48) so it averages out to $122? Still reasonable IMO

hmmm that is the one island I've already been to. My wife has not though so might do that. She has a $100 SW flight credit expiring 4/1 so trying to fly by then. I wish Southwest had other islands where they operated more flights.
