Good heavens. I've spent more time than I wanted to here lately. You pop up a subdivision with a few 300k houses and these people think they are elites.

So you're the tape and float guy from Tangipahoa?

You had the Jackson Family who had an airstrip off Sullivan road. I believe they had family ties to Irene Ryan (Granny from The Beverly Hillbillies)
Donna Douglas (Ellie May, The Beverly Hillbillies) bought property off Joor up in the Glen Oaks area and had a nice house there. She was from Pride area.
My grandfather from Pride had a lot of land in California that had oil on it. He made his money in California in Oil and running a company that built cars for movie studio productions. He came back to the Northern Central area/Pride and bought a lot of land there in the 1970's. He knew the Jacksons and Ellie May.
A lot of people laugh but there were people with big money that lived in What is considered today.

Either serious or brilliant troll. Bravo, sir!!!

Illustrating the strong conections Central has to the Beverly Hillbillies

Max Baer Jr. (Jethro Bodine) has been trying to build a Beverly Hillbillies casino for years and years. If they ever get the funding for the diversion canal or a resevoir maybe they can put the gaming floor in that water!!!

That's the impression I got as well. Or he was there to do work and went home to his 2 bedroom apartment in Baton Rouge. Either way, his post reeks of being both jealous and intimidated.

It's ok OP, one day you will make enough to buy a $300k home and be one of those "people who think they're elite".

The Cracker Barrel is now a Deangelos ??
I haven't heard The Pits in awhile. My parents moved to Biltmore after I graduated. Good times

Nah, not me. I have low standards. Next year we are going to get some blocks to level out the house though.

I disagree with OP. I live in central but have been renting a house in a newish neighborhood in the LP ever since the flood.

I'm blown away at how much trashier the inhabitants are here in Livingston Parish than they are in Central. The kids are mostly pieces of shite, there's stray dogs everywhere, people revving their flow master trucks up and down the neighborhood at all hours of the night, tons of theft, and trash everywhere!

I used to think central was similar to the LP but I chose Central due to it being a much easier commute to downtown. I was wrong. LP is much much worse. I can't wait to move back to central.

It opened back up this week. The only problem with Central are all of the LP people who drive through going to and from BR. Traffic is a nightmare because of them. 80% of the traffic out there is going to LP.

Lol LP is "slightly" bigger than central.

You are renting which states you are living in an undesirable portion of the parish. Congrats.

Once the cancer finishes spreading up Greenwell Springs Rd and Hooper Rd, it will be Baton Rouge east.
