I pay $129 with tmobile for unlimited. But I didn't buy my phone outright. Have some other add ons. Jump. Otherwise my service would be $80 month.

My brother and I are on the same plan and it's pretty solid. $140/mo for unlimited calling, texting, and 10GB shared data. Bill is $175 because I financed the phone through AT&T Next rather than buy it outright.
If you go with Sprint or T-Mobile, expect some pretty shitty coverage if you leave the city. The reason I stick with AT&T is because I have a lot of family that lives in small town Louisiana, or even in rural areas, so I need the coverage that only AT&T or Verizon can give.

I have a work phone but still keep my own personal cell. I bought an unlocked Google Nexus 5 from Google play for $350. It will work on any carrier by changing out Sim card.
I'm currently on T-Mobile prepaid plan. $30/month for 5gb of data, unlimited texts including Intl, and 100 mins of talk(10 cents a minute additional mins) but I never go over 100 mins.
T-Mobile is fast and I have no complaints. Much better than paying almost $80 to Sprint for sucky coverage.
