I like Rees, from Breaux Bridge. Very knowledgeable guy (former U.S. Ambassador and federal court judge) yet still very humble and down to earth. He would make a good congressman from the area.

Too many good choices, a good problem to have. I like Rantz and Ellison, but have been a long time Boustany supporter.

It's a Catch 22 with newbs we elect and stay there long enough to rise to power positions, and then later we demonize them as "career politicians."

Please keep this in mind when you vote.

Boustany is running for senate(Vitter's spot). Rantz and Ellison are running against Angelle for congress which is Boustany's old position.

Ellison is my top choice.

Snake Angelle is my last, short of a real turd like Chris Williams or Conrad Comeaux jumping in.

He got his arse handed to him by an old man at our local Battle of the Badges in Monroe.

He's a bit dramatic, liberal when it comes to criminal justice reform, otherwise generally conservative.

He's legit in my book and I will most likely vote for him.

Higgens says stuff like Baw, Thugs, etc. Has signs that look like a witches hat. Seems like that qualifies him

Thinking he is qualified to be a US Congressman is letting it go to his head IMO

"I get paid 1500 for a television production and a grand for a radio production, plus 150 an hour travel time and an additional grand for a photo session,” Higgins wrote in an email to Lafayette attorney Tony Morrow, who he had agreed to film television ads for. “That’s a total of 10 grand for the eight productions.”

But Higgins added an unusual request. “I prefer to get paid in cash,” he wrote. “I have my reasons for preferring cash, reasons best discussed, if need be, in

TheInd is crap, and I'd prefer to be paid in cash too.

That said, I'll probably vote for the Napoleon guy.

I mentioned earlier in this thread about how he's a fraud. Read through those emails and you'll see that I was right.
