Bring cash, walking shoes, and sunscreen. Other than that it's a great place for some good and unique finds, and for womenfolk to go by all that FB stuff that people sell.

The pavilions are over priced and boutique stores usually. Go out back and walk amongst the people. Waaay better deals and much cooler finds. More garbage to look through, but so much wider array of things and the people are more willing to deal.

Eta: unless you really want a dog, avoid puppy village. I mean it.

How many hours, would you say that it would take to walk through it all? Their website says 5 hours.

Bring your alcohol. I love that place. Crafts and nice stuff in the pavilions and "junk" outside. I prefer the browsing the junk. If you see something you like, buy it then. It will not be there when you come back. I've learned this the hard way.

I certainly wouldn't budget any less than 4 hours from when you park to when you leave if it's your first time. By the time you add in stopping to eat a bite and getting lost, 4 to 6 hours is appropriate. Oh and bring a cart or rent the ones they offer. You feel like an idiot, but everyone uses them and it's way better than carrying around the stuff you buy.

As has been mentioned, byob.

Eta: you could certainly spend a full weekend there if you wanted to, but we have gone and only spent 5ish hours in the past. Depends on how much you are into that kind of stuff or if you're just cruising for a few specific items.

What kind of things you like? Hobbys? Into tools? Antiques? Bought an awesome fire pit a couple months ago for dirt cheap. If the guy's there I would recommend one.

It's a hit or miss. If you like very large flea markets, it's as good as it gets. 2/3 of it is junk. There are some good vendors that are there monthly. I like to get doors & shutters there from the older homes. Also like the pottery stores around the area. Usually make 1 trip there every spring for outdoor pots.

You can go through the Arbors in that amount of time, as for the entire thing it would take all weekend. It's mostly things that will appeal to your wife, but I always find things that are interesting.
