Can move my arms freely, but any time I move my legs, there's intense, unbearable lower back pain. It's not shooting down my left leg, though. I tried rolling out and ended up bracing myself against my night stand and the bed for 5 minutes before my arms got tired. No chance of standing up.

Felt the initial pinch last night when I dropped my phone and bent over to pick it up. I get the same pain occasionally but it usually only lasts a few minutes and doesn't hinder my movement.

I don't know any orthos in BR. Any recs?

If you start having urinary or fecal incontinence, it's a medical emergency. If that happens, get to the ER ASAP. Not joking, for real.

I hate mornings like that. I have a tennis ball and foam roller on the ground for that situation. I drag myself on to the foam roller first and then use the tennis ball on extremely tight/painful areas. Nothing like having to put Netflix on so your roomie can't hear you grunt with pain.

Threw my back out a few weeks ago picking up my 1 year old daughter's empty laundry basket. I just moved the wrong way and it popped. Couldn't move, sleep, sit, or stand for long periods of time. Was extremely miserable for a week. I did go see an Orthopedic to make sure there was no damage to spine or discs and X-ray confirmed it was muscle related so I got some prescriptions to an NSAID and light muscle relaxer and it helped me. Good luck been there before.

It's actually in the medical literature they give patients that you can frick up your back by sneezing.

Ortho - Jorge Isaza, but considering the type of pain you are describing....I would suggest a nuero......Kelly Skrantz is the poo. After that, try Kevin McCarthy

Thanks for the advice everyone. Managed to make it out of bed after 10min of struggling, but I can't stand up straight and it's too painful to walk.

Barrister, thank you. I will try and get in touch with Scrantz's office

Bro, Instability between 2 vertebra is what you got. Back pain means to stabilize those two segments. If you had leg pain that would mean you have something pushing on the neural elements (spinal cord and nerves). Isaza! McCarthy and then if you want a Neuro Surgeon Go to Lake Charles and See Dr. Eric Wolf. Best Neuro Surgeon AROUND! BOOK That. All 3 have very good hands and good bed side manors.

It's probably your ostentatious muscle swelling up. If you don't know where it is, it's right below your pretension gland.

Physical therapy. I have to do a 30 min core workout every day for my lower back.

man hold up on the ortho and neuro route, go to your PCP or a walk in clinic, get some antiinflamtories, muscle relaxors and pain meds and give it some time
