Not all gun owners are idiots but somehow all idiots are gun owners.

That loaded gun would've been pretty handy had he been in his car at the time of the robbery

Very well said. I'm sure I'm going to be accused of being anti-gun but I'm far from it.

Most gun owners are paranoid personalities by nature. I've never felt the need to walk around with a gun to protect myself.

I'm not going to comment on the flaw in your logic but I encourage you to think about it.

One would hope you never need it, but most would carry it in case they need it.

Well that's the thing that confuses me. I don' t think it's wrong to carry a gun in your car. I just think it's as crazy as carrying a life preserver in your car in case of a flood. Both may save your life but do we really need them in a car?

And I asked because maybe 7thward does some shite he ain't telling us or maybe he got robbed 4 times or something.

Why was the "9" in the car, vice on your person? Obvious the car could not use it.

Same here. Keep it to yourself, the rest of us don't care except to think less of those that make a point of letting us know their gun stories. 90% of these GI wannabes would be shot with their own weapon in a real life & death situation.

Sure. Because I'm surrounded by water.

However, I'm not surrounded by targets while driving.

But honestly I know they answer to why people carry guns in their cars. They are always paranoid. My brother carries one because he's going to be Bruce fricking Wilis when shite goes down at the local strip mall. No matter what I tell him he can't be convinced otherwise.

I've been carjacked. The guy was nervous doing it(putting a gun to my face). Obviously I'm still here but a gun wouldn't have been the worst thing to have at the time

Well let's distinguish between carrying a gun and regularly leaving one unattended in your car. The former is entirely defensible IMO, the latter is stupid but always defended on this board.

There are some "dead right" supporters of carrying guns in here. Have not witnessed a site quite like this one.

I've never never never ever needed a fire extinguisher on my home, so no need for me to keep one handy by your logic, correct?

I've never never never ever needed a jack and lug wrench in my truck, so no need for me to keep one handy by your logic, correct?
