Sir. That is the saddest thing I have read in so long. My heart reaches for your family. The thing about the Doctor with the mother. That's horrible. I work with a fella whose mother had cancer. Thibodaux regional gave her the wrong medicine. She has been in a coma and almost near death since then. She was moved to ochsner. Her son, my co worker, straight up said he is prepared to blow some rounds at the local hospital I'd she dies. I can't blame him.

Sorry about your Aunt & Uncle.

Really sucks for their kids.

Night, I'll dream tonight of a cell of mine doing something stupid.

Thanks for the thread, y'all.

Oschner here has a top notch cancer center donated by Tom Benson. I would say if you have cancer go there and not EJ.

The insurance story has some in the family talking "wrongful death". Last fall she was in remission and it looked good, then it came back in winter, was being treated and then the treatment was changed in January and she wasn't getting the right chemo treatment that had been working. Doctor said she appealed and lost. New doctor said original doctor never appealed. New doctors appeal went right through. Insurance definitely failed her, she had a catastrophic plan and met the deductible, so that's another issue. It's hard to focus on that at this point.

I've been on both sides. A parent who had it. And in 10 yrs of practice I've had to tell people they have it. Both equally suck.

Really just hits home. It's like there is nothing we can do. Just better hope you have good insurance that will pay out the $8,000 a shot and the $300 a pill for the drugs without shutting you off for two months while the cancer grows and they decide if you have used "too much".

My family member did not have "cancer insurance". Fortunately we were able to raise enough donations on gofundme. I recommend it.

As someone in the oncology world in BR I can verify that Dr Stagg is a great doctor. That whole group is very good.

I had
Bone marrow transplant
Impatient chemo
Non Hopkins lymphoma burketts

Hair grows back quickly.
Gain strength back in 1 yr if exercise 2 yrs if don't.
Man it's all about exercise after doing chemo.

The doctor below saw me in bed at MD Anderson he requested a stationary bike because I refused exercise.

I refused to interact with people and walk, use the bike, or move around.

Then when I refused he took away my bed so I did physical therapy to get my hospital bed back.

Years later no issues and I can still get in the ring and box maybe not like in my 20's but I can hold my own for my age.

Still here I guess not my time yet.

Here is my doctor I think he is at a hospital in New Jersey and considered one of the best in the cancers he researches. he is a good doctor, if you don't understand him he slows down to explain things, and good bedside manner. Just don't get in a pissing match about exercise while in hospital with this guy.

I hadn't kept up with him. I was talking about the magnets to my fiance and she was telling me that was the girl's doctor before he got sick.

I think they raised $5k there. now the plan is to donate that to cancer research since she has passed.

when my dad had his cancer you could never even tell. He got skinny during chemo, but he tried an alternative appetite aid that kept his hunger going. He didn't even lose any hair. (well a little but never bald) He did lose five feet of intestine though. Glad he made it through so well, I would not of been able to handle that.
Heck I remember bringing him to the first appointment because it was 9/12/2001.

Napoleon,

you know why there's no "cure"?

there's no profit in a cure.

profits lay in treatments

besides, the AMA's by laws state they exist to protect doctors profits!

that's why anyone finding a cure will be hunted down like a dog and smeared with feces til they dry up and go away...

So, in the interest of sharing info, not that you'll actually pay it any mind at all. Dr Lorraine Day, came down with breast cancer, and beat it by changing her diet. you can too!

Lastly, Dr Linus Pauling said "that everyone should know the war on cancer is largely a fraud". quoted from, The Cancer Industry book by Moss

you got serious options outside of mainstream brainwashing of the masses....if you'll pay attention and investigate, that is.

What commission do you receive from Dr. Lorraine Day's books on "How to change your diet to beat Cancer!"
