Can you LSU baws educate me on why everyone hates F King Alexander?

I know that he was some liberal prick from California who wanted to promote the whole diversity inclusion agenda and simultaneously bring down Greek life. What all has he done besides that? Genuinely curious. I had a good LSU friend (who sadly passed away last month) who absolutely loathed him.
He sounds a lot like Jimmy Cheek, who was the chancellor at UT during the time I was there. "Booger" Cheek was so hyperfocused on obtaining some stupid arse top-25 public research ranking that he completely lost the vision for the school and student life.

At every graduation ceremony and every other chance he got he slobbered liberal praise on every student demographic except white males.

This. And he meddled with athletic department decisions. He was not a popular president.
I don't think he left voluntarily. He was told to start looking for a new home. The big donors had him ousted like Alleva.

Louisiana is notorious for its history of least efficient budget use. Doubt one clown that was briefly at LSU had a lasting impact on that
