The LA purchase card isn't just for food. If a person gets straight up welfare (cash) then it may also go on the card. I think they call it EBT?

There is no LA Purchase Card anymore. It's all EBT. There were much more stringent limitations on the LA Purchase Card

I've seen people use a blue card with "louisiana purchase" on them recently. I figured it was just regular welfare/EBT since they bought regular non-food items.

It was at the Sam's on Airline Hwy in Metry. I couldn't avoid seeing it because they were right in front of me. It was three older individuals with well over $500 in groceries. They had 6 LA Purchase cards between the three of them and it took absolutely forever for them to check out and to continue scanning card after card. I picked the wrong line

the only reason I noticed was because she was in front of me and took 5 min to decide on whether she wanted 6 or 7 pounds of boiled crawfish. I was breathing down her neck by the time she finally checked out

Evidently they did not change it then. I thought they went to EBT cards (I have seen a lot of people use them) instead of the LA Purchase Card. I rarely go to the grocery though. Bachelor life

No I do not, but I have a pretty good idea that your vagina smells like the flea medicine my dog threw up earlier

For sure, almost every person I this place uses them to buy crawfish, I wouldn't have even noticed if she hadn't taken forever. It doesn't phase me anymore when I see them being used

It's not against rules to buy boiled crawfish, just not hot

What's the line between warm and hot?

They aren't supposed to, but if the business' POS is qualified to accept the card for legitimate purchases, then whatever they ring up can be paid for technically with the card. The business is supposed to tell the customer when an item does not qualify - this RARELY happens. A GIANT loophole in the system.
