I have a 2012 nissan armada platinum. I could tell it was about that time to swap out my battery. So I went and bought a new battery and replaced it. I hooked it up and now my vehicle won't start. I hear clicking from my starter, and the navigation system won't turn on. Other than that, all the lights are on and they do not dim when the car is trying to start. So I know the battery is fine. I never had this issue before until I changed out the battery. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You messed up some connections and fuses when you changed it out?

Was built in Canton, Mississippi by functional illiterates with horrible work ethic.

Any wonder that it was apparently assembled incorrectly and is now not functioning?

You should have bought a car built in Canada, Japan or Germany.

Either battery connections or starter. Try hitting the starter with a wrench or something while trying to start the engine. This will cause a weak starter to turn over. That would mean you need a new starter.

Your new battery is a POS or is not fully charged. Try jumping starting it with some jumper cables.

Check your ground. Also, did you accidentally try reversing the cables when you hooked up the battery? If so, you probably blew some fuses.

You have a good enough connection to run your accessories but not good enough to deliver the amps the starter needs. Clean your terminals, reconnect and make sure they are pushed down all the way on the battery and tighten up good and snug.

Assuming the you have it connected right, it sounds like a dead cell in the new battery.

If you have a voltmeter check the volts while your wife turns the key. I suspect you'll see low voltage from the battery.

Just put the meter leads on the battery terminals while she cranks the engine.
