Can Marble Countertops be re-polished in place?

Apparently some mod deleted my other thread because they couldn't see through my blatant OT trailer home humor.

The problem still remains. My new house(Dino rizzo's old place) has Carrara marble counters which weren't sealed properly. I'm trying to figure out if they can be re-polished in place. I've heard this is somewhat common with porous marbles, but haven't heard any remedies.

I gave some lengthy advice before it got whacked. I'm not typing it all again.

It took 7 trailers to get it in the mobile home park. My rent is insane.

But seriously....no.

So we have one vote for fire. I'll open the floor to other suggestions....

I don't think she was married... just some young intern or something.

They are polished before they are installed. They can be polished to a certain degree once installed but not as effectively as before they are installed.

They can easily be polished but it is not going to remove any stains. Carrara is a terrible stone for a kitchen application.

After buying this house with it, I'll stick to granite or concrete from here on. Even in the bathrooms there are water spots everywhere.
