Can I get a Saints World Champs license plate in a state outside of Louisiana?

Can I basically copy the Louisiana design of the New Orleans Saints World Champions license plate and submit it to TN (where I currently live)? Or is this not allowed?

We have a Saints plate in MS that looks exactly like LAs. You can probably try to get one in TN too.

Okay, thanks. TN lets you submit personalized license plates, obviously they have to be approved but I just wanted to be sure Louisiana doesn't have any ownership laws where other states can't reproduce it.

I'm not sure that applies as I'm not creating a license plate for my organization.

Won't you have to get like a 1000 signatures?

Well TN.gov just went down so I can't help you.

I've never seen a state allow you to just design a license plate

I live n TX, all you need here to get a "special " plate is about 100 people that want the same. It's through an outsourcer anyway, the state just takes their cut.

TX has an LSU plate but they don't have a Saints plate. You'd think it'd be easy to get 100 people who would want a Saints plate in TX.

it is, you just need someone to get the ball rolling, it was an email here, might have been from the local alumni group, didn't take long
