And if so, how do we get her to sleep in her bed and not in our arms?

And if we let her cry it out does that mean she’ll end up on the pole later?

With the right attitude, that baby can do anything it wants to.

How long have you let her cry it out?

We swaddled and used a rock n play but apparently it’s considered a death trap now

Do not do the cry it out method with a 6 week old

You just have to deal with the uneasiness, IMO. Try and develop a schedule and stick to it. Even if the baby doesn’t stick to it right away.

We have a swaddle night outfit (looks similar to the one above) that goes on top of our daughters pajamas to sleep. This shite is a life saver

Hold her until she falls asleep, put her down gently, pray you get 2 hours of sleep.

Does the baby get enough formula ? They usually take a little more at two months. Usually 4 oz at that age I think. Every 4 hours. Check with your doctor on amount. Also make sure baby isn’t cold. She might want your warmth. There’s no magic answer other than nurture the baby Yout all she’s got It’s not about you anymore. Good luck

Swaddle that little nugget tight. Put some white noise on and say some prayers. The first 3-4 months is the steepest learning curve you may ever endure.

6 weeks is way too early for CIO. As someone previously stated, routine and schedule can change your life. Although it’s hard and requires sacrifice.

When mine was that young, it was either because she wants dirty, needed a tighter or swaddle, or wasn't getting enough food. Every time we checked through those 3 options, she would get us at least 3-4 hours. Found out we needed to suppliment formula until my wife could catch up.

IMO, crying it out doesn't work for the first 3-4 months. They just learn to get louder quicker

If there is one thing I know about fussy babies it’s that they need constant companionship. You can accomplish this and send a social message by rescuing a pit bull to keep her companion.

Kill two birds with one stone.

Err accomplish two things with one action. Forget the kill part.

The $1 billion question.

If you can figure that out, tell Scruffy.

6 weeks is a little young for the “cry it out” method.

She won’t really tire out due to crying at that age. She will just keep going.

Some people swear by driving around the block. Others swear by certain sleep apparatuses.

Scruffy’s sister loved the Snu. It has a baby straight jacket and rocks.

She eats like a champ. We put her down in her bed and I gave her a bottle until she slowly dozed off. Wife is worried we’ve spoiled her to where she’ll only sleep on us so we’re trying to break that if it’s a thing

It's a baby. Change diapers, feed, and hold it. It's going to cry. I wouldnt let a 6 week old lay there and cry.

Unfortunately, this is where the mom pulls lots of work, just try and help her out so she isnt frustrated.

That age isn’t an easy one.

Definitely don’t get into the habit of rocking or holding her every time she falls asleep.

The solution is simple. You pick her up and hold her anytime she wants.

Yea, most people who have one will swear by it, but it is pricy.
