And why the frick are cops so adamant in not releasing a video like this? That's telling in itself.
Oh, and did I just quickly read it right? The guy shot was actually brother of the kid whose bike was stolen? He was letting the cops know that the 2 other guys weren't the ones who took the bike and he got shot for it?

None are absolved of blame in this situation.
I'm fine with firing the dispatcher and putting the cops in jail. The other one...well he's dead. Easy to say he paid a higher price than the other 2 with blame.

Blame goes on the stupid fricks who pulled the trigger.

Another situation where without seeing a gun, the first officer doesn't shoot just once thinking he's seen a gun
he starts unloading his clip, which then causes the second officer who hasn't seen a gun produced either, start to shoot.
Why? because his partner started shooting, so he started shooting. Just mindless and cowardly.
If this was my son that was killed, I would be asking the cop why he was so zealous in making sure he killed my son by firing multiple bullets into him instead of just trying to disable him since he never actually sees a gun?
It's cowardly to shoot someone multiple times when you have the draw on them and you haven't seen a weapon.

It's mind blowing to me people defend this video. Holy shite.
I really don't know if people who defend cops in these situations, which happen more and more frequently, are just evil or scared little piglets.

wow. that was not good.

I'm with the cops on this one. Learn the ducking language and do as told. Thanks autocorrect, now you have me looking like I need to learn the language.

Bottom line is these cops are way under-trained and probably were hired unqualified as it is. A sneeze would have been more threatening than what this guy did and I'm sure some of y'all would defend the cops then too for a guy sneezing.
Every force needs to be cut in half, re-hire those truly qualified, use the money you save by cutting the forces in half by paying the good cops more.

Yeah, those cops deserve serious prison time.

That was disturbing

America makes me sad. Justified shooting and we pay money out for it. Just sad.

I'm not going to read all the comments but have the OT cops shown up in full force blaming the victims?
I'm assuming that they believe the government should execute people for acting nervous/confused and moving their hands or having a hat. I mean, I've seen magicians pull a lot of shite out of hats so you never know if there's guns in there.

I would have understood more if the shots were fired when he first put his hands actually into his pockets. Showing some restraint at that point but not later when he posed less of a threat baffles me.
yup

Is that 4.7 million in dollars or pesos?
Do we have to western union that money back to their families back in Central America?

I love how the OT will burn a cop at the stake for shooting a dog, but defend them shooting a person.

If I were the cop, I would have shot as well. Suddenly lowering your hands into your pockets multiple times in this situation is a huge NO.
Thank goodness you are not a cop
