You say that like Chuck is a downgrade from Lee. Chuck Norris was an actual Tae Kwon Do world champion for 6 consecutive years. He would frick up Lee. He has even admitted this respectfully.

Bruce Lee was a champion at staged fights on the set.

Fact.

My question is why so many people hate Floyd bc of his antics? It made him the wealthiest boxer of all time and that'swhy he does it. He is hands down without a doubt no question the greatest boxer of all time. Any argument to the contrary is an attack on his character and not his work in the ring.

Well obviously finger holds, and eye gouges and dick twisters are non-BJJ submission.

And darnit thats how he beat KAREEM!!! With the SUN!!!!

There is not complete list of what is considered "BJJ". BJJ is what is effective less what is illegal. If it works it is BJJ.

That's just stupid. You can argue it, but there's certainly arguments to be made to the contrary.

I remember when the OT actually debated prime Tyson vs prime Lee. It went like 30 pages.

They said street fight so that means anything goes. I would say Mayweather would.lose to a lot good grapplers who aren't afraid to hurt people badly. Eye gouging is extremely effective. So is snapping exposed fingers and limbs. Bruce would be better at this than Floyd

Mayweather is a great fighter and would fair the same in a real fight with a true legend in the same way the best jouster in the world would far in a real or death sword fight with a sword fighting legend.

EDIT: real life or death

I did say p4p in my first post. But yeah his work is proof enough. People dog him because he perfected the art of winning in the ring. He dominated in his 20s-30s and knocked people out and took risk. Why would he risk it once he got to the top? He wanted to stay there and found the perfect way to do it.

Just because Bruce Lee beat the shite out of Kareem Abdul Jabbar doesn't mean he would beat Mayweather.

Mayweather is a bitch. Throws 2 jabs then runs for the rest of the fight. Dude would get his arse kicked in a street fight.

I'm confused. Which is the jouster and which is the sword fighting legend?

I'm saying in a street fight where they are similar size I would always pick a person who has a lifetime of experience in hand to hand. Lee would be better suited to snap limb and fingers put a move that Floyd couldn't escape and that's the goal in the street fight. You do what it takesays to win. Floyd has the punches which doesn't go far in a brawl unless you get the first shot.
