I totally agree, and it's a legitimate point and a big one against lee. I also think the legend of bruce lee is probably a lot greater than reality, but at the same time they don't build legends around total phonies. he spent his life studying these fighting techniques and he became famous, not for youtube videos, he was famous before he was in movies...I imagine he's competent doing those things...Mayweather has spent his life training to do what he does in the ring, and he is great at it, but they're not as great in a boxing ring

this is the last time I'm going to say this too, but it's not about bruce lee being some god like fighter. it's more about the rules and the size equality making Mayweather less than he is in a boxing ring, and while bruce lee was no champion fighter, I would imagine that he's a lot better at the other things allowed in this fight that aren't allowed in a boxing ring.

If Mayweather had a size advantage, if Mayweather was a heavy hitter who hit above his weight...i'm going with Mayweather all day every day. i'm less concerned with lee's competency at the things allowed in this fight not allowed in boxing and more concerned with whether he could take a punch and do those things competently. that's a huge question mark.

it's possible Mayweather makes quick work of him. I could be very wrong, but I wouldn't dismiss lee right out of the gate because they're the same size and the rules are so far outside of Mayweather's wheelhouse.
