We’d like to recognize our Narcotics Division for their hard work in executing several investigations Tuesday that led to multiple arrests and seizures. Detectives, along with our Special Response Team, East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office and West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation and then acted on a search warrant leading to the seizure of numerous narcotics and the arrest of Darryl Spears, also known as Darryl Holliday.

Later in the day, these teams executed another investigation in which they seized narcotics, two loaded handguns, large amounts of cash, and two vehicles. This investigation resulted in the arrest of Johnny Grant.

One loaded Glock 9mm caliber handgun (Grant)

Are just these two a life sentence with the guns present?

Imagine that! Americans' insatiable demand for recreational drugs doesn't evaporate just because the police state continues to accrue power.
