She's made it real clear that she thinks those cops are guilty and that the entire BRPD is racist and needs to be overhauled.
Well isn't BRPD withholding evidence? Why in the hell should we trust them if thats the case?
I doubt she thinks all of BRPD is racist but would it be far fetched to say there is a community/police disconnect and it just doesn't stem from NBR lawlessness? Our own Federal Bureau of Investigations has highlighted how our LE Agencies are facing an insurgency from white supremacist terrorists...wouldnt it be prudent for a mayor of a city with a 30-40% black population to keep a keen eye on her PD in light if this information?

let the police DO THEIR JOB
Let them do their "job" and you'll never ever get a fair investigation in a case invokving police misconduct.
Protect and serve doesn't mean attack, shoot and jail.

How about we hold our police accountable?
Then again, Scruffy isn't dumb enough to build up a criminal as a martyr.

If she lets those idiots run wild, Broome is done as mayor.

Do you believe the officers involved in the shooting should face charges?

We do that and they STILL get away with misconduct or shooting down unarmed people.
What gives? They don't hold themselves accountable. Plus we have mindless, peanuts for brains citizens that thing they can do no harm or bad...and basically let them get away with misconduct.

Yes.
Absolutely.
100%.
Let their fate be determined by a jury of their peers.

Where the frick do you get your stupid shite from? BRPD isn't withholding anything you fool.

I didn't say punished. Charge them and let their fate be decided by a jury of their peers.
Posted on 4/29/17 at 5:18 pm to StrongSafety
Why charge them if they didn't break any laws?

I apologize!!! It must be true then. Lol.

We do that and they STILL get away with misconduct or shooting down unarmed people.

It was then hijacked by those of you who wanted to make it a racial issue, when it isn't.
Bunch of idiots. This could have been a unifying movement, but no, unity is overrated.
Morons.

I have to give it to you, you have stuck with this troll for better or worse, way more worse, almost always worse. For you to believe SWB is equipped for what looks to be inevitable, after how her first few months as mayor have gone, is just absurd. If she were a white woman, and had done the same things up to this point, I guarantee you wouldn't have the same optimism. You come here and spout that white people are the racists, when your very own viewpoint is influenced by the color of skin. Your schtick is tired, but I guess you keep bored people busy at times. Example 1^^^^^

Here's what I remember of last summers protests, and correct me if I'm wrong.
First night on North Foster - mainly locals, no troubles. People turned out from neighborhoods.
Downtown marches - peaceful processions culminating near the state capitol.
Then the buses from out of town arrived. They were trained in creating photo op moments and riding the line of getting arrested. They were here to trigger an event, create tension, and get attention. It succeeded on most accounts. They got arrested, made the news, and won the attention of a madman who came to town and assasinated three of our citizens working to protect us.
I don't recall anyone suggesting the first events should be shut down. But if Gary, Denise, or Sharon thinks they can ride a wave of furor to further their own agenda, it will end in someone's blood. That's what must be shut down.

Yea, Scruffy gets too easily riled up by his stereotype.
Oh well. We all make mistakes.
I actually am pretty pissed over how the anti-militarization movement was hijacked by idiots.
Strides were actually being made. Now we are going backwards.

I typed all of that, and then realized he got me. Wasn't about to erase it.
