Looks super nice. How are restaurants in the area? Would be renting a lakeside house / cabin. Any recommendations?

No, no one has ever been. You will be the first.

Let's just go ahead and get that shitty joke out of the way.

As for your question... no, but I would like to. Looks beautiful.

Rented a cabin there last year for a weekend. It's great. I think we cooked the whole time we were there, so I can't recommend any restaurants, but it sure is a beautiful place

Couple of nice hiking trails around the lake. Good trout fishing in the spring

Lots of nice cabins in the area and the lake is nice. There aren't many restaurants in town besides The Grateful Head which has some solid pizza. I would plan on cooking most of your meals.

Might want to call around. The flooding did some serious damage to the tail waters. The park is closed. Will likely be closed for a quite a while on account of the flood. Lots of roads and bridges got washed out. The fly shop quite literally floated away. It's fricksville.

Not overly familiar with the lake itself but the tail waters and beavers bend park are beautiful. The hatchery is well managed as well.

The crappie fishing is amazing. They are like mutants compared to most.
