Every spring these posts come up. Every answer is bring such and such in some sort of bottle.
The truth is, they will catch you. You are not the first to try that.
When you order a drink, just ask the bartender to make it a little stronger and just buy the drinks on the boat

If you get the drink package, what prevents one person from getting drinks for another?
You get a room key credit card. When you buy a drink its charged to your room. Everyone in the room over 21 has to buy the package. You can buy drinks for other people.
Me and my wife are going in April, I didn't buy it because my wife barely drinks and it would be worth it. I have 4-5 drinks a day and I'm good.
First cruise I went in I smuggled booze on board, 2 liters of Finladia. It was a bitch leaving the pool going back to room to make a drink. I feel it's more trouble than it's worth.

Carnival does not let you bring any bottles other than 750ml wine (1 pp) on board
Not entirely true, last year when we went we hired a taxi all day in Cozumel. WE stopped into a liquor store (not the ones at the dock) and they were selling 300 ml bottles of booze. The clerk told us you can bring 2 per person onto the ship. We were skeptical but we bought them anyway. When we go to the ship security looked at them, we weren't trying to hide them, and let us through no questions asked.
Maybe it was the security guard, maybe it was just that the lines were long to get back on but we had 4 300ml bottle of booze in our room.
