Carnival does not let you bring any bottles other than 750ml wine (1 pp) on board.

No water
No soft drinks

Don't waste your time hiding it there.

If you get the drink package, what prevents one person from getting drinks for another?

Do they give you a special refillable cup or something?

I've never been on a cruise because being surrounded by overweight, loud people who paid $300 for a week on the boat sounds like a miserable time to me. I would much rather be on a private catamaran. Anyway, I did Google "unlimited drink prices on cruises" and you can get up to 15 drinks a day for $50 with most cruise liners.

Why not do this?

For non-alcoholic drinks, you get a special refillable cup. I'm not sure about alcoholic drinks.

That is why you pay more for a nicer line on a nicer ship with better people. You'd be surprised how easily higher fares weed out undesirable passengers.

No, The trick is, everyone in that stateroom has to have the package and mandatory gratuity is automatically added. You can give the drink to anyone else but you can only get 1 drink every 5 min. So you can't just walk up to a bar and order a round.

While I'll probably never go on a cruise again, the last one I went on I had a "bon Voyage" gift sent to my room. Was a couple bottles of vodka and cranberry juice. I'd also go fill up on juice at breakfasts in the morning and bring back to my room to mix drinks.

We used the wine bottle method. You can buy new heat shrink seals for the wine bottle tops on Amazon. Used dark bottles. Dab of food coloring gives it just enough color to look believable. They didn't give the bottles a second glance at least on our Disney cruise. Could I have afforded to buy drinks on the boat? Sure. But I just paid out $5k for 3 people on a Disney boat. frick Disney they don't need any more of my money.

Adopt a Monkey
Book it on the cruise
Train it to hold fake bananas

Go to cheapo chinese online store alibaba
Order the Hidden banana decanter and let your monkey hold it when you are getting into the cruise liner.

Job done!!

PS if things go wrong blame the monkey

because my wife doesn't drink and both people have to purchase it, therefore it costs me $100 a day for 15 drinks plus gratuity. After everything it's $631 for me to drink for 5 days with two of those days being off the ship!

They make anyone over 21 staying in a room purchase it because it would be inevitable that people would buy one package and share it. My wife doesn't drink much at all but we are going as well and she was happy to purchase it. Before we knew that we were just going to get it for me and I was going to share with her. So that's why they do it that way.

You get up to 15 spirited drinks per day and unlimited soda, speciality coffees, rockstars, bottled water, honest tea, etc. It comes out to around $60 a day and well worth it.

I take a couple of cruises each year. 5 or 6 years ago you could bring pretty much anything you wanted. Stuff a case of beer in a suitcase, no problem. The thing is that when they stack the bags to deliver to your cabin. There might be 200 pounds weight on top of your bags. Liquid containers might crack and leak. So they just cut that crap out. Plus it cost them in booze sales.

If you're going to bring on booze. Get a few 8 ounce rum runners and put them in your pockets. For me. It just not worth all the trouble.

Went on a cruise for my honeymoon. It was freaking awesome but really just get the Unlimited drinks. I was drinking macallan 15 every day. To make it worth it I had to drink 45 bucks a day worth of drinks. I did about 150 per day. So its def worth it.

I've been on 2 cruises and both times I snuck a handle on by rolling it up in my pants. Never had any issues. Heck, we left it out one day and the guy cleaning our room laughed about it with us. I tried to give him a drink but he said no. Probably spit in it but hey, it still got me drunk.
