My only problem with Rise and Fall of WCW and Monday Night Wars is it does seem like a bit of revisionist history. Make it seem as if NWO and Goldberg were the only good WCW ideas while WWF was full of good ideas.

Well it is biased since wwe put it out. I actually like wcw before the whole nwo. One problem I have and will always have with wcw is how strong hogan and savage were booked from the get go. For instance hogan and savage faced the horsemen and dungeon of doom in a match at uncensored. So wcw brings in zeus (tiny lister/deebo from Friday) as well as jeep swenson. So it's essentially nine guys against two. Then when hogan wants time off he finally decides to put the giant over yet the giant doesn't actually win the title I believe and yet it takes the whole dungeon of doom as well as the mummy who was larger than the giant to put hogan away.

I think there is a wcw documentary on Netflix

I loved wcw from 97-2001 or so. It was great.

There are some documentaries out there, but what you really want to watch are "shoot interviews" from the wrestlers themselves. Granted some of themare full of shite jealous assholes, but a lot of people agree on a lot of things. There are many clips on YouTube.

So if you're wanting to watch something about behind the scenes stuff, shoot interviews are probably the more insightful documentation.

I used to love hart when I was younger. Now that I'm older and I've listened to bubba (he has a lot of pro wrestling friends) I've found that hart had a huge head and kind of thought he was bigger than he was. My fave are the heels like Shawn michaels, flair, the nwo gang etc. I find it's hard to get people to hate you and they did it so fricking well. Oh RIP Owen hart. Loved high energy

Shoot interviews are cool but too many guys are being paid to shoot on people and they need the money so they will make up whatever people want to hear

You should read his book. It's 500 pages of that.

Good read though. It's my favorite wrestling bio.

I agree some of them will, but it depends on the individual. Old bitter pricks make for the best shoots and some can turn it into a payday like with Ricky Morton and Kevin Nash.

Obviously guys like new jack and the honky Tonk man are full of shite, but hell, they may even believe what theyre saying.

Ever see the one with Billy Jack Haynes? Good god.

Good link. I believe the orndof vs vader. Vader is an overgrown baby. I think Paul played for the saints in the 70's. there is one video on YouTube with sheiks baby and Paul orndof. Apparently they're neighbors and mr.wonderful offered him some pork to eat

Sunny was the 1st woman I took notice of as a kid. I marked hard when she came out with the Road Warriors as LOD 2000. Now I look at it and realize how much I would hate it as a fan

She was a lot sexier than sable IMO, I'd double wrap it, but IWHI nowadays just to say I did.
