I just watched "Wrestling with Shadows" and he seemed really high on himself.

Yes. It goes through how Bret's contract basically fell through and then the Montreal Screwjob.

Bret got money hungry when he went to WCW. He did a bunch of nothing over there.....and then he got kicked in the head by Goldberg.

I liked Bret when he was in the attitude era when it kicked off. lol

I know he suffered a sever concussion from Goldberg but he seems really slow physically and mentally now. Like he has brain damage.

It is funny how the directors of the doc found Brett to be very boring and that if the Screw job hadn't fallen into their laps, they probably would have nixed the entire project.

They shook hands and made up on Raw once. Might have been just for tv though.

I watched that episode. We all know HBK isn't the HBK from back then, but Bret seems like he's the same ole Envious Bret.

Dude read this fairly recent article, lotta new stuff.
LINK

ETA: the video link with Xpac is very interesting re: the camera angles and (what I assume is) Hart's possible involvement in it.

Bret might be his own biggest mark but I feel for the guy. Bret obviously has a lot of passion for the business and to go out like that, then Owen dying, several other close friends and family dying and the stroke. Life hasn't been easy on the Hitman lately

I'd never given much thought to it. I wonder what the chances are Bret was in on it?

I think a lot of people still hate him for shite he did 20 years ago. In all reality he probably cost a lot of people different opportunities.

He basically did what Kevin Nash did in wcw. But at least Kevin admits to it, and he probably learned from Shawn.

I thought he was great in the 90's. He never did anything to me, but keep me entertained.

I loved Hart vs Austin, the double switch was awesome. I hated Canada for about a year.
