Need to give me 5 mill for a study ill conduct via google earth

Also, your plan does nothing for the majority of truck drivers using the bridge and not going to New Orleans

But how many "community awareness coordinators" get paid off into the process? Those are the important numbers.

Hell no, that goes right past my neighborhood.

At this point, the state can commandeer my property for market value even if they want to build the fricker through my living room.

You still don't have east/west traffic by-passing BR and the fact is the 1-10/I-12 corridor has the most traffic.

You have only fixed a small part of the problem

No loop or bridge will ever be built

Just get used to it

Sounds great. Let me do a multi phase environmental impact study. Should be able to start Phase II when your grandkids are freshmen at LSU.

Excellent point. We may even having flying cars before it is built, then it won't be necessary. Perhaps a feasibility study can be done.

Stay the frick away from St.Gabriel. Their PD will pull every damn car over, and write them all tickets for going 2mph over the limit...jamming traffic in the process.

Let's hear the criticism of my plan

The best bet is to build a northern loop, for the truck traffic to take. They're still trying to avoid Nola, as are all the dirty Texans going to 30A all summer. Then, finish 49, like someone else said. People coming from the west going to Nola, take 49. People coming from the west avoiding Nola, take the loop to 12.

Cost: 750 Million.

Now that you've paid all of the people with their hands out, what will the real cost be?

I have a better idea. Connect 1-12 to Hwy 190 going over the old bridge. I wish there was away you could expand one side to add the railroad and then remove and replace the tracks down the center to add more room for both lanes of vehicles. I think this would greatly improve its use. The only toll is from I-12 to 190. This money goes towards the cost of that connector and any potential to expand the bridge for safety reasons.

Pushing everyone on to 190 helps the outgoing traffic and improves internal travel between Baton Rouge and Lafayette. It also improves travel from Livingston to Baton Rouge. The toll is for the passerbys.

The Southern connector is similar to the plan you drew except your shitty bridge might hold traffic one lane each way for $750 million. Mine costs $1.6 billion initially with it being $2.4 by the time it's said and done. However, it's built in 6 years instead of 10. Also, it will only be useful for 10-15 years. Everything else is confidential.
