You do understand that he is not charged with anything that you are talking about, don't you

Can't charge someone with a crime that took place in another country.

If you think he's innocent and is simply a pawn in a larger case, that's fine.

I don't care one way or the other.

But the feds don't bring a charge if they can't convict, and my experience leads me to different conclusions then yours.

That's why they didn't charge him with what you are claiming

Exactly, and they don't go breaking down the doors of every yahoo who clicked on a child porn link. They wait until a person establishes prolonged, obviously willful acts.

When it comes to child sex crimes the government absolutely can.

Agreed, but if someone has a twisted sense of humor and has two videos of a 16 y/o fricking a donkey and sends them to friends, that would also meet the description in the indictment.

I don't know this guy at all, and I really don't care, but the description in the indictment doesn't really do much to clear up what exactly happened.

That may be the worst sentence I have ever read.

I clerked for the US Attorney in law school and helped out on some child porn prosecutions and there usually is an ironclad electronic footprint before they indict. From that article, I'm guessing they pinned him by his IP address. Not sure smartphones can run Tor and all that.

Yeah, I was thinking that might not look good in the search history.

True. We'd have to see who received them. If it was his usual friends and colleagues, your scenario might be true. You don't send kiddie porn to your everyday baws.

Exactly. Two bestiality, under-aged videos seem incredibly specific yet minor from an addiction standpoint. When I say minor, I don't mean to minimize child pornography, but usually these cases tend to have way more than two counts or instances. Sending it to 33 different people in 38 instances makes me believe it was some sick, twisted gif more than some elaborate underground kiddie porn thing, but who knows?

I know Chris. Worked with him for several years as a lobbyist. He is that type of guy that can best be described as a frat boy who'll never grow up. He always speaks his mind, and it's usually very obscene; but he's also that guy that can get away with all of it. Generally someone that was always fun to be around.

I didn't get this particular video (thank god), but he used to send funny, and inappropriate jokes all the time. The type of shite you'd find on r/imgoingtohellforthis.

You don't know anything about the case and need to stop spreading false shite.

you don't get too much more obscene than underage homoerotic bestiality porn, but i can't say one way or the other...

No one knows shite about this case.

This board is famous for speculating on shite like this. It's pretty much SOP. We speculate on a guy that wrecked lambo, Michael Brown, Zimmerman, wrongful deaths, and whether Hillary Clinton shits in a bag, but this is off limits?

Get over it.
