Anyone have experience hoisting these things? Looks like I'm going to need to figure out how to get it up to the second floor balcony.

Get two friends and push it up from outside? Not rocket science, it's the 2nd floor...

I have a small reach lift with rubber tires, I can head your way for 100 bucks per hour. I can be there in 3 days.

Block and tackle bro.

Or get a truck and stand on the roof.

Seriously, your ancestors built giant castles from stone and you can't figure out how to get a damn mattress to the second floor?

I had a similar problem when I lived in Italy. The stairway leading up to my door made two 90 degree turns... no way to get my sofa up there.

What I did:
- buy rope
- buy beer
- invite friends

My sofa had built-in recliners which added another 100 lbs of weight. It took 4 of us to get that bitch up over the balcony and through the door.

Tie a rope around the mattress the same way you would tie a ribbon around a clothes box as a gift.

Off center the knot to one end of the mattress. Not squared up like the pic...

Pillow top and huge.

Delivery guys didn't want to help hoist it up so I'll either need to find some mexicans or wait till a couple of my friends can come over.

Return it and buy a Casper mattress. It comes folded up and vacuum sealed in a box that fits easily through a doorway and stairwell.

Had that same issue in HC's old apartment... except there was no balcony and none of the windows were big enough, so she ended up giving it away.

A king-size mattress would have been tough in that apartment as well, but it probably would have flexed enough to make it.
