Boston Marathon Bombing 10th Anniversary

Happy Patriots Day and good luck to all running this morning. It's hard to believe it's been a decade since those piece of shite brothers attacked the finish line on Boylston. If hell is a real place, I know the older brother is down there getting butt fricked by the devil, and I hope the younger brother is being tortured in his own right by never seeing the Sun again until he can join him.
I'm not using the attackers names because they don't deserve to be acknowledged as human beings with names. But those who lost their lives that week do so they are not forgotten.
Krystle Campbell, 29, Arlington, Massachusetts
Martin Richard, 8, Dorchester, Massachusetts
Lingzi Lu, China
Sean Collier, 27, Massachusetts
On a semi-personal note, I lived in the same neighborhood as Martin Richard's family. I never met them, but the next spring I saw his father quietly and by himself planting the bulbs of yellow trumpet daffodils not far at all from our building. Yellow was his son's favorite color. It was both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. They still bloom every spring.

I remember sitting in my bedroom just glued to my laptop following along with that thread.

I was meeting with a client who worked for ESPN. His phone blew up with texts immediately after it happened. Very surreal moment to know about it before it was being reported.

The manhunt was truly wild to follow.

I'll never forget how leftists praised the bomber like some here. Even got a magazine cover.

We all had the perpetrators figured out.
Until the FBI told us we were completely wrong.
FBI actually did FBI work that day

The Watertown police scanner thread was one of the greatest TD threads of all time
I was working a night shift job in college and that thread made that night go by quick

I can’t remember the comedian's name but he had the joke “I remember the first time I heard the attackers names and I thought to myself……Dinosaurs did this?”
I was in the thread. One of the more crazy times ever on the OT.

Martin would have been 18 yrs old this year. He always wanted to run the BM.
His dad, brother, and 5-6 of his best friends/classmates are running in his memory and to support the Martin Richard Foundation.
Gonna be very emotional when they stop at the bombing site memorial location to honor him.

It’s what Boston PD would say over the radio during the manhunt in strong Bostonian accents.

What does Alex Jones say about Boston Marathon Bombing?
Posted on 4/17/23 at 10:44 am to AbitaFan08
it's too bad no one warned the intelligence community about the bombers. lives could have been saved.

Yep. That may be the first time I remember an OT thread following the police scanners on a big event. It became standard after that.
