shite. There used to be a whole sitcom that revolved around Bobcat in a garage.

I guess I'll be the first to ask, how did a bobcat get trapped in your garage?

well, the bobcats that I have dealt with have all been laid back at all. I would either call Wildlife and Fisheries to see if they can remove it, or just roll with it and you may get some half bobcat kittens out of the deal!

live in Frisco as well. A few months ago my wife yelled at me to come to the front door. There was a bobcat casually strolling up our sidewalk. Not the side walk by the street, the one leading to our front door. He got up to the porch and just as casually turned around and slowly walked away. I wish I had my phone on me so I could have videoed.

I have seen that picture a ton of times, but I never fail to laugh my arse off every time I see it. Never gets old to me!

The word on the street in Bobcat Nation is clear: Baws, we are the big cats around here. That makes us LIONS, so let's act like it.

My neighborhood is infested with rabbits. A couple of bobcats moved in and the rabbit problem disappeared. I saw one strolling along the top of my fence, two lounging in my front yard, and hanging out in the alley.

I am cool with it. They are scared of people and they feast on rabbits and rodents

A friend of mine killed one this morning while turkey hunting. He was calling and the bobcat came sneaking up on his left. Cat was sneaking up on his decoy, the turkey was not in view yet.

He said a 3.5" magnum will frick up a bobcat. Nearly took his head off at 16 steps.

Garages are good for that. We had a possum that insisted on coming into ours every time we left it open for a while like it was a damn motel 6 or something. He didn't come out of that situation very good.

Friend of mine killed some bobcats while hunting some years ago.

We skinned them and cut them up and stewed them with some veggies and gravy for many hours. Turned out pretty damn good. Black guy (who would only eat chicken and pork) that worked with us went back for seconds and was going back for thirds until we told him what it was. He wanted to be pissed but it was legit delicious.

I would cook it again. Only thing I'd do different is put some rabbit with it.

That way it would be...

pussy-hare stew.

About 10 years ago my next door neighbor calls me to come over and check something out. We go up to the observation deck on his house and I took this pic of an infant bobcat (there were two) just hanging out while the mama was keeping a close eye on me. A year later or so later he calls me and tells me to look out my office window. Sitting on a pedestal in front of my driveway was presumably one of the baby bobcats now grown, figuring out how to get a meal out of one of the birds on my driveway. Cool animals and they are very territorial.

A couple more pics- was out on a lake outside of Scottsdale last summer paddleboarding and this one was just hanging out watching, he/she apparently smelled the food I had and was waiting for scraps. They are beautiful animals.

You don't live in Frisco, TX, do you? We have bobcats all over the place lately.
