We really need to have a sit down with people and discuss these videos of their behavior. Everyone needs to come to an understanding of what will not be "tolerated".

This is the main reason that I'm for Military conscription at the age of 16-18 (Final two years of Highschool is Military Boarding school abroad). Before someone is allowed to be considered an "adult" at 18, we have to remove them from their "family" and do our best to give them a crash course in acceptable behavior.

That kid had promise, and now he'll just be another statistic.

Think about it for a second: Nutrition, Excercise, Discipline, Hygiene, respect for authority, Gun Training, Self Defense, etc.

Even kids in the country club of LA need this as they suffer from "affluenze". The idea is that the last two years before you become an adult, you get thrown in the mix with everyone, you meet people you'd have never associated with before, you all are given a crash course in the fundamentals of what being a responsible adult means.

Bad habits developed from Poor parenting, upbringing, situational status, etc....are beat out of of naive children and each is given a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities that they will be held accountable as adults.

In the military style setting, education can be better tailored to the apptitudes of the students ie vocational/College prep.

Also, most criminals get arrested the first time during these years.....nip it in the bud..stops the cycle.And then better adapted "non-criminals" go back to their neigborhood and are less inclined to be criminals.

Not everyone is raised in a household with irrational and over-reactive parents or guardians.

Does that hypothetical conscription apply to both sexes? All socioeconomic backgrounds? All races and religions?
