Black Man's Unfortunate Interaction With Cincinnati Police While Getting Coffee

It was just another morning in Cincinnati, Ohio for 29-year-old Charles Harrell when he was making his way back from a early morning coffee run. Filming his trip, Harrell recorded his interaction with police officer Baron Osterman, who can be seen trailing behind Harrell on a bicycle. Sharing that the police office asked if he “had a problem,” Harrell noted that this was a normal occurrence in his hometown.
“This is what we have to go through in Cincinnati, harassment” he said. “You can’t be a black man and enjoy your morning, because the police are going to harass you in Cincinnati, Ohio.”
As the video continues to roll, Osterman approaches Harrell for allegedly crossing against the light.

And that's why Cincinnati will never be Cleveland. You're welcome, citizens.

I just came in to see what kind of coffee he got for morning ideas...

Well that cop's suspicion was correct. He was in fact breaking the law (he had weed on him, if you dont want to read article). End.

Also, isn't it possible that the guy acted suspicious enough to warrant the police to look at him since he was carrying weed?

Crying racism *shouldnt* work when the "victim" is actually guilty. Emphasis on the *shouldnt*. Because it does work in this country. For some fricking reason.

I get what you're saying, but god damn, the guy wasn't harming a fly. This was just a huge fricking waste of time and money, not to mention the grief of getting put in a cage for not harming a soul.

I must have missed the part where the chip said he suspected the guy was carrying weed.

Got another very dangerous weedhead off the streets. We dodged a big one there

Nothing wrong with a white cop simply following a black man with money. Happens every day in Mississippi.

Unless this cop has x-ray vision then your point is moot. He had no way of possibly ascertaining this guy was in possession of weed. How does one look suspicious while casually walking down the street sipping coffee? Am I missing something here? Don't be fricking daft and try to deny the obvious. This cop was clearly fricking with a guy who was minding his own business. Now I hate to pull the race card, but something tells me that this is a pretty clear example of racial profiling.

Putting aside who's wrong and what not. I still can't get over him having weed on him. Dude, if you know cops follow you and could possibly pull you over, don't have illegal drugs on you.

Hmmm cops sees obviously high stoner and finds pot on him = racial profiling? You are either too stupid to realize just exactly what racial profiling actually is or are trolling.
I don't agree with the pots laws but they are the laws cops are paid and charged to enforce, this is not about race.

I'm gonna bet that the officer could smell the weed. It's amazing how many stoners walk around smelling like weed giving the officer easy PC.

Obviously high? Are we looking at the same video? Gtfoh! No way would it have been the same interaction if that guy was white. You're clearly being disingenuous. Do you ever see cops posted up outside Starbucks waiting to stalk and survey patrons who leave to see if they have bloodshot eyes or appear "suspicious"? People like you are the reason why the wheel of inequality keeps on turning. You turn a blind eye to an obvious miscarriage of authority and an outright injustice. Shame on you.

Maybe he was profiling. Maybe not. One thing for damn sure though, is this guy is a complete idiot. He's carrying weed and starts filming a cop for following him, like that's not gonna trigger said cop.
