Birmingham policeman beaten, has head injuries...

Birmingham Police say the officer is an investigator for the department's robbery unit, and was in plain clothes and an unmarked vehicle.
Two suspects were taken into custody, but Birmingham Police said they are still searching for additional suspects that may be involved
