Video is gold

quote:

It wasn't good enough for Tyson, who at various times – all incorrectly -- called Shadow Lawn the oldest cemetery in the state, the nation and the world. The land for the cemetery was purchased in the late 1800s, and it was used as a cemetery in the 1930s.

And that doesn't even get into the funny part of the argument.

I think she is a great spokesperson for her constituency and articulates exactly the ideas that they would like to express.

With all these mental gymnastics, I am shocked she hasn't broken her leg yet.

I bet she still doesn't understand the difference and thinks she's right.

The residents of Birmingham are the descendants of the people who engineered and built the great pyramids. Fact.

I think her career in municipal politics started in Monroe as PR for DA Jones

It blows my mind that so many people like this hold public office. People that can't speak basic English and who obviously lack high school level intelligence. These people are making decisions for a community and can't even comprehend that there were cemeteries around before WWI.

But what about President Obama wife great great granddaddy?

This woman was just axing what the difference is between a slave cemetery and a Holocaust memorial.

She changed the age of the cementary in that one statement. She said "since Civil Rights" followed by "since World War I."

I feel for the Bentley guy as he tried to explain the situation.

irks me that people can elect such idiots like this. They blame race when in reality it is their own ignorance that is the problem.

I don't think that women is qualified for a fast food job, much less an elected position. This is a great example of how some communities continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

"This is the oldest cemetery in the nation, it dates back to World War I," she said.

But it's not even the oldest cemetery in Birmingham. Oak Hill is years older.

"This is the oldest cemetery in the world," Tyson said.

Unless you count everyone everywhere who died before the 1930s.

"If this isn't a tourist attraction I want to know what is. President Obama's wife's great, great granddaddy is buried out there."

Hol-y...shite. This bitch makes Sheila Jackson Lee in Texas look like a Rhodes Scholar.

God bless you, people of Birmingham.

And I thought Baton Rouge and New Orleans city councilmen were ignorant...

Lol

She is literally too stupid to even debate.

I felt bad for that attorney for the city.

Some people always have to find ways to make it a racial issue. Always. It's their go-to phrase. It's a crutch for idiots and losers.

Sack up and do something about it.
