Read from a reliable source- "Multiple Waco police officers are looking to get indicted on federal charges"

Would you care to expand a bit on your comment? It seems rather unusual that the Feds would start and complete an investigation in less than a week and are already preparing indictments.
Edit: I'm assuming the indictments are related to the Twin Peaks shootout.

The feds have not completed an investigation. I really don't want to say more about it. the news will hit the media web sites in a few weeks. anyone close to the officers will know what they found out yesterday.

Come on now, you've got to give us more details than this.

Why did thread title change?
I think it all started early yesterday when there a rash of threads with the word "mud checking" in the title. I saw Chicken saying in a post that all threads with that word will be anchored. It was about that time I notice the thread title had changed.

I know there weren't many bikes on the road this weekend. This weather is insane, Friday night was one of the worst storms I've ever camped in but on the good side you can ride a Fat Bob through two feet water and as long as you stay off the brake it handles like a slightly awkward jet ski.
Been quiet around here bike wise. Partly weather, but also almost all the bars have gone to not just no colors but not even vests.
All the little poser clubs that spent the last few years trying to look at outlaw as possible have now gone to not wearing their patches in case cops or other bikers think they are the real thing. Which makes me wonder why they wear that shite in the first place.
Partied in Bandera Friday, great town.

Also not sure how many of you guys camp but used my new tent this weekend and it kept me bone dry. Perfect for tying on a bike I can rope it onto my handlebars.

Been using a Eureka three man I've had since 2002 but finally decided to get something more suitable for putting on my bike. Awesome tent, and while small I am 6'0 220 and had my helmet, boots, bedroll all in the tent and while a tight fit I could still stretch out and sleep. If weather had been nice I'd have had even more room.

The Bandidos wear their claim to the Lone Star State on their backs. Their vests have “Bandidos” across the shoulders, just above their logo, a caricature based on Frito-Lay’s Frito Bandito. Below, the word “Texas” is stitched boldly in an inverted crescent.
That crescent, the “Texas rocker,” has long belonged to the Bandidos, and they consider it a provocation if someone else wears it without permission, which is exactly what the Cossacks did.
How dare you wear the word Texas on your vest. Somebody gotta die for that.
fricking idiots

May seem that way but it goes a lot deeper than being a fashion accessory. There is money at stake and the Bandidos have always kept the peace in Texas since they are the only major club.
As an independent biker who just enjoys riding, I've always appreciated the fact that Texas had one dominant club and I could go to rallies and swap meets without always wondering when the next brawl / shooting would break out like they have in California with three major 1% clubs.
If the Bandidos let the Cossacks expand and wear a Texas rocker, it would only be a matter of time before other major clubs expanded into Texas.

And you can wear Texas stuff just not the bottom rocker that is a claim of territory.

Unless you pay $100 per month per chapter. Then its all good.

And therein lies the biggest self inflicted problem in the biker world and one of my biggest gripes. But that's not what I bumped this thread for. Here's an update from the Aging Rebel about what this alleged president of the Cossacks had to say....

So when a biker from the Bandidos, the oldest gang in Texas and one of the largest in the world, ran into a young Cossack in the Twin Peaks parking lot last Sunday, everyone knew what was coming. First words, then fists, then guns. Within seconds, Richie, Diesel and Dog were dead.
They could have just kicked each other's arse. Could have arm wrestled or played pool or darts. Or simply called each other cock suckers and moved on. But nope  Had to kill each other. fricking morons.

That old man's obvious tilt shines brighter and brighter each time I read him. I truly still do not get and do not understand the extreme lengths that supposedly law abiding bikers go to defend or explain away any criticism that might come the way of what are otherwise just thug pieces of shite.
And don't talk to me about the other 170 arrested. This article was specifically about the Bandidos. Is it that y'all are afraid to speak out about the Bandidos? It truly comes off that way to be honest.
He takes issue with saying "the Bandidos" versus "some Bandidos"? Really? That's like taking issue with someone saying "the Crips" instead of "some Crips" or saying "the Gambinos" instead of saying "some members of the Gambino family" as if there are good and bad ones.
Why not just call them what they are and get rid of them instead of trying to cut and parse every negative said about that particular gang?
