You'd better hope the powers that be, which as you know shifts over time, never decide you're trashy.

If my "persona" is ever deemed trashy, who would run the world..?

Spoken like a true liberal progressive. Guess your conservative values only extend to those you don't see as "trashy".

I really don't think the average liberal progressive is arguing the shite this dude is spewing.

Maybe an extremist might be like that, but those aren't the norm.

Most of my friends in Texas would stick me in that category and I don't agree with what he is saying at all. (of course a Cali Repub would prob be a Dem in Texas so )

I'm independent but I have many patch holder friends in both of the 1% clubs involved in this affair but because I ride a bike I'm a "trashy biker" just like you're a "trashy pothead" because you smoke. No double standards allowed.

OK I have to go do some actual work PEACE

I think I called them immature, childish and silly. I may have thrown in a few more like whiney, ignorant arrogant and entitled. But, I believe you coined trashy. Do you take a shower? Do you wear clean clothes while out in public? Do you care about your personal appearance? Do you dry clean your patches so you don't reek out in public?

Electraglide is probably a pretty bike. I'm still down with the V-Max and like 187 horses, but 15k for something that mostly sits in the garage? On the fence.

Why don't you join one of the two? Too preppy?

Seriously, why not join if it's so cool to be a member for a rider.

If by extremists, you mean a clean cut, drug free citizen that adheres to the rules and associates with like minded individuals that wouldn't be at a Twin Peaks to begin with...

That is a nice bike. Does it have A/C? Where do you keep your vest extender?

I thought you drove a Japanese bike the last time we "chatted". I was wrong apparently.

I don't know much about cruisers. I'd love to have this though. I doubt clubs will let me in with it.

So you admit you are at work? Playing with your phone when you should be productive? So.... What is politically correct. Loafer or slacker? ;-)

except...

We have allowed police to adopt a "herd" mentality about crime.

Black with dreads? Stop 'em and check 'em. Hell, just stop and frisk anybody you want to, WTF.
Go get a half-witted dog to "alert" for imaginary drugs. It's all good.

No doubt stereotypes exist for a reason and everybody hates a thug POS.

We pay LE to know the difference though, not to constantly pay civil suit judgments and trample the Constitution.

I did own a Roadstar Silverado 1700. Not all clubs require an American bike. Usually it's only the 1%er clubs that have that requirement. Most clubs do require a minimum of 750 CC's for safety purposes though. No idea what size engine that bike in your pic has.

I have been following this thread since the beginning. Not because I am pro or con bikers. I haven't been on a motorcycle since I was 20 years old. That was nearly 40 years ago.

Am I pro police? Well, my brother was atf and Dea and has made a career in law enforcement, so yes, I am pro cop. That being said, I am appalled and very concerned with the militarization of law enforcement that I have witnessed in the last few years.

Ithe does not take a genius to recognize where we are headed. The Bush and Obama administration's have botbowen gaged in lawlessness, coverups, and intrusive Ness into our lives. While we passivelyrics sit by and elect to give up our freedoms and liberties to big government in the name of national security, our government has become more and more oppressive.

What happened in Waco should alarm any patriotic american. Permitting law enforcement to run wild and change the rules of the game as it sees fit is dangerous and should not be permitted. The arrest of 170 citizens is unjustified and criminal. Civil rights have been violated.

The only thing that irks me more than an intrusive government is the fact that most people are willing to accept it. They are not patriots. They are cowards who foolishly believe our federal government and it's agencies will protect them. If this is permitted, who is next?

Well you know what they say about the navy, 1000 men go off to sea and 500 couples come home. Kinda gives this statement from him.....

quote:

To not see that people fit a mold, and stereotypes are generally correct, is ignorant...

... A new perspective.
