This guy needs a fully rigid. The XC30 would add weight and the lockout sucks balls on that fork.
Also FTR I ride a 2012 Talon 29er modded to ghetto tubeless, ardent/Bontrager tires, spd pedals, a WTB pure saddle, shimano deore hydraulic brakes, and a RS Reba RL Fork. So I've made alot of mods but I ride pretty frequently with a decent skillset.
