The one I got was BS. An empty parking lot at 7:30am with no businesses leasing. It's a money grab, nothing more.
People bitch about cops because they are enforcing some bullshite law, and not really "Protecting and Serving."
I can guarantee that no tenant complained because there aren't any.
...and I was practically forced into the parking lot because of the do not enter sign, which has no reason being there.

A $240 tint ticket about 1/4 from my driveway.
I offered to peel it off since it was just a little work truck and the tint was already peeling off the passenger window.
He said no, I have to give you the ticket since I already saw it on there.

No inspection sticker on my boat trailer. Got the ticket on a Thursday morning on the way to go fishing. Same cop got me again for the same thing on the way home on Sunday afternoon.
Fun fact, you can only buy an inspection sticker in the parish that the trailer is registered.
Same sheriffs office issued me a criminal trespassing citation. Ended up fighting this one in court and won.

Back in my senior year of highschool, I got a speeding ticket in a school zone on S. Harrels Ferry by St. Jean Vienney school. I was headed to work in the afternoon, as seniors finished school two weeks early. The school zone was from 2-4 PM, while that particular school didn't let out until after 3PM. At 2:10 cop was lining up cars, and I didn't even know why at first. Technically I should have been going 20 (was going 47 in a 45), but there were no school buses or parents in the parking lot yet. Just a money grab.

Coming from a parking lot, I use my blinker and turn right. I need to get over quick because I'm turning left soon. I use my blinker, turning it on and off as I cross over 3 lanes and into the turn lane (I was the only car on the road).
I turn left and a cop who's in the place I'm turning pulls me over.
I got a ticket because I crossed the solid white line when I got into the turn Lane. I was pissed

I don't understand why people just take that kind of stuff. I would have yelled right back.

Didn't happen to me, but to my uncle (I was in the car). After the '06 Sugar Bowl, we were leaving a parking garage, and my uncle turned the wrong way on a one way street. There were no signs in the garage, no signs at that part of the street, and no cars parked along side to indicate it was one way.
A couple of guys walking buy yelled that we were going the wrong way. My uncle put the car into reverse to back up and turn around right as a cop car pulled on to the street.
They got him out of the car, asked if he had been drinking (had a beer with dinner 4 hours earlier), gave him a field sobriety test. He explained the situation, but they still gave him a ticket.

Sitting at a red light. I had some sunflower seeds spill and the bag fell onto the passengers floorboard. In my suburban, I had to slip the shoulder harness down under my arem to be able to reach across to the bag.
When I sit up, there is a cop in the c store parking lot next to the redlight who gets behind me and stops me at the next parking lot.
He said I was wearing a belt. It was still buckled yet not visible because it was still under my arm. he still wrote the ticket!
I am now exposed weekly to stories of cops lying in court to make charges stick....you guys would be shocked.
Whats worse is when the other officers get on board with the lying one to make all their stories match.
Happens all day every day and as angry as it makes me, I sit back and chuckle when people come here or tv news people defend a cop just because he's a cop and they aren't supposed to lie.

Pulled out of the parking lot of a bar at about 1:00 AM. The exit from parking lot on to the road is at about a 30 degree incline. I'm driving a stick and there's snow and ice on the ground. Cop pulled me over within a 1/4 mile of leaving the bar. Asks if I've been drinking, I say no.(I don't drink). Field sobriety test followed by breathalizer, I'm all good. Writes me a ticket because I "spun my tires" pulling up a 30 degree incline in a gravel parking lot, in the snow, driving a stick.

Back when I was in college I was at a friends duplex. This neighborhood was a ghost town. Everybody was gone for Christmas break.
We were all inside when my buddy said there was a cop outside writing parking tickets. Turns out there was a sign on the far entrance saying that you couldn't park on a certain side of the street.
I politely went up to the officer and said I didn't know, and that I would gladly move my truck to the other side. He said sorry I'm going to have to write you a ticket anyways. $50. What a dick.

Hell no, I wanted to get out of there. Yelling at the cop would do absolutely no good, whatsoever. Why would I do that? that would've been really dumb

Sounds they were as retarded as someone who received a summons and just ignored it?
Should've know that guy would comment. Do you not think it's silly that police in California would care about a misdemeanor ticket in Georgia? Sounds like you are a big gubment type

Going 94 in a 55. It's not like I was drunk or anything. Thug POS cop.

Years ago. On Nicholson headed towards UC. Drove through the Bluebonnet intersection. Cop was sitting at the light on Bluebonnet.
Pulls me over for no seatbelt. I was wearing my seatbelt. Had my seatbelt on the entire time.
He continued to say that when I drove by he saw I didn't have it on (at Nicholson speed mind you).
At the time, I had (legal) tinted windows, was wearing a black shirt, sitting on a black seat, with a black seatbelt strap. Still wrote the ticket. $75. Served.

I was ticketed for speeding doing a complete 360 on a highway in Montana. The freaking three lane hwy turned to gravel in a curve with no warning whatsoever.
When his lights came on behind me, I honestly thought it was to go gratulate me on my performance.
Ticketed in 09, never paid.

Headed west on 10 through the split to east on 12. There are a number of patrol cars and motorcycles on the shoulder just beneath the Essen lane overpass.
I'm in the right travel lane and there's a vehicle riding directly on my hip/blind spot. In an effort to merge left to give the officers room, I sped up to merge in front of the vehicle to my left. Moto cop runs out and flags me down. I politely explain I was trying to do the right thing in moving over but the asshat wrote me up anyways.

Worked in TX in 2004 and bought a new truck, had the dealership tint the windows, I told them darkest legal tint. Came back to LA in 05, drove the truck for 5-6 years and in 2 weeks I get 2 window tint tickets. Apparently TX limit is 30% and LA is 40%. Took the tint off shortly after the second ticket. $150 each.

I've deserved all the ones I've gotten.
Now my wife got popped a few years ago, just before Christmas on Acadian Thruway. She wanted to turn left off Acadian onto Government and traffic was backed up way out of the turning lane. Cop got her and a bunch of other cars for being on the wrong side of the median. That was some bull shite.

Got a speeding ticket for going 36 in a 35 mph zone. When I questioned the cop about it, he said that it was a school zone and that the speed limit was 20. It was around 4:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon and when I asked him if kids attended school on Sundays in this friendly little town (Brookings Oregon), he told me to shut up or he would arrest me. I had a California drivers license at the time and was just passing through town. Damn ticket cost me $50 dollars and that was back in 1979!
