I wish they would have left it alone.
Big Mikes was decent on food and price. Now, prices have gone up and each of the 4 times I've been since reopening the food sucked.
Really disappointed!

I don't think it was big mikes needing more space, it was that nobody ever went to cactus cafe and it was wasted space. Big mikes was able to add pool tables and a place I assume for live music/dancing. Looks really good now.

It was always good for a long time before I moved to MS. I always liked it.

I always wondered the same. My guess was the owner of cactus cafe owns the whole strip of buildings (Lebanese place and crossfit place and big mikes), and leased them out and so he didn't really have to make money on cactus cafe anymore to keep it open. Then after the flood it was pointless to open it back up so he rented it to big mike? Just a theory but I've always wondered how and why they stayed open as long as they did.

I went the other night for the first time since the flood, the food quality has gone way down(and it was just OK before), the service was lacking, and the place looked nearly the same.
Other than supporting a local place, not much incentive to go back.
