So I have been dealing with chronic spine problems for about 10 years. I've had a cervical fusion, a few outpatient procedures, over 20 ESI's, and countless rounds of physical therapy and chiropractor visits. I feel like my doctor doesn't really give a shite about my health any more. They dont offer much hope or suggestions and I'm steadily getting worse.

I think i need to change doctors. Who do you recommend and why?

What are your symptoms?

If your only symptom is pain dont get any more fricking surgery

I wouldnt let a surgeon anywhere near my back unless I couldnt walk

That seems like a foolish position to take. Are you opposed to western medicine?

I agree, chiropractors are the real experts when it comes to spines

No, i just know that back surgery for pain has a high fail rate.

If you have a true fixable radiculopathy thats another story

the neck surgery actually helped a lot. all the numbness, weakness and tingling in my hands went away. i have another herniated disc in my neck that causes pain spasms and headaches. i have a herniated and a bulging disc in my middle back that causes numbness and sharp stabbing pain. i have 2 bulging and one herniated in my lumbar that causes intense local pain and radiating pain, numbness and tingling down both legs but worse on the left.

I second this. He did a 4 level fusion on my neck 6 weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with the results

What have you been diagnosed with?

I'd advise against surgery

North American Spine. At least according to this site's ads.

In all seriousness, Dr. Scrantz has a pretty good reputation between both sides of the Bar (plaintiffs/insurers).
