A wealthy suburb of any medium to large sized American city.

Or where extended family is.

Or where your family can thrive financially.

Not sure about best but some I've been to in the last 5 years I would consider moving my family to are :

Tulsa, Kansas City, Atlanta, Charlotte, Ashville, Nashville, San Jose.

Why? I just like the cities. And it might be a burb of them.

This thread doesn't do much good if you just list the name of a city with no explanation why.

Yeah, it's kind of generic and not sexy but it's an up and coming city and in close proximity to other large cities, which seems to be what most people want.

It wouldn't be for me, but I'm just thinking the average family.

Midland Michigan. Great schools, zero crime, great roads, Dow chemical. Is major employer if you have a college degree in almost anything you can find a high paying job.only drawback is that it's a pretty small town and if you like to party you need to go 20-30 miles away. The people are friendly but very stale.

Any place where the "best place" of that place is a suburb, is not the best place.

The city doesn't matter. Just let them join/post on tigerdroppings and they will grow up just great.
