Going last weekend in July with a bunch of guys and want to stay at a casino hotel on the strip. Preferably one with a nice pool area with a party vibe that is also not too expensive. What's the best bet?

Also, there will be about 8, and possibly up to 12, of us. Any way to get a good deal for a larger group? We're also looking into going to a show friday. Should we try to get a deal on room plus show?

This strategy will serve you unless you just want to be as pretentious as the rest of the people there. The monorail entrance at the MGM will take care of you getting up and down the strip. They even have Uber now which blew my mind as I thought the taxi cab unions would have put up a bigger fight.

Pools scene overrated= it's about night. Get a decent hotel room and just party.

Used to stay at Imperial Palace

They were center strip, had best sports book, and their dollar for dollar bonuses, got ur room for free for the week.

They stayed in suites at Harrahs, meh, was nothing more than a hotel room with snacks that cost $10 a piece.
